the berry that inspired
Growing up with an organic family farm in central Alberta, our mom raised us with an appreciation of the health benefits of pure and natural food. In 2016, after our dad brought 200 haskap berry bushes to plant at the farm, we started to research and discover its tremendous health benefits, inspiring us to share this hidden gem.
Introducing Haskalife
the limiting factor
While uncovering the amazing health benefits of our newly discovered superfruit, we started to wonder why it wasn’t already commonly heard of and available. We came to understand its strength was also a limitation—the triple purple skins of the berry, which provides its powerful anthocyanin profile, are soft and need to be consumed quickly after harvest—in short, it has a limited shelf life.

We knew then we needed to find ways to conveniently consume our super berry while retaining the health benefits and delicious flavour profile.
Our solution? Haskalife was created to connect the world with the nutrition and taste of the haskap berry. This starts with sustainable and regenerative farming practices.
